TWO people including a 76-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of the murder of Gary Dean.
Gary, 48, was found dead in a wooded area behind Moorend Lane, Silkstone Common, close to the Trans Pennine Trail on September 6.
A 40-year-old man and a 76-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of his murder yesterday.
A 49-year-old woman was also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
Detective Chief Inspector Steve Whittaker, who is overseeing the investigation, said: “Our inquiry has been ongoing since September, with dedicated staff investigating this awful offence of murder.
“I’m still appealing to anyone who may have any information to contact the police.”
