UNDERNEATH the Stars festival is a matter of weeks away.
The family-friendly event takes place at Cannon Hall Farm from July 22 - 24 headlined by international folk star Kate Rusby, and organised by her family production team, Pure Records.
In her first diary entry for the Barnsley Chronicle, festival director Emma Holling, sister of headline act Kate, explains how the Rusby family is organising an army of volunteers to welcome thousands of people to Cawthorne.
“For us, the start of summer is usually signalled by a manic few weeks leading up to Underneath the Stars. It’s busy, but we love it.”
