NEW figures reveal schools across Barnsley will be more than £9m worse off by 2020 than they were in 2015, the NUT teaching union has warned.

In January it was revealed government funding policy for schools nationally would mean across Barnsley schools would lose more than £6m, but the latest updated information paints an even bleaker picture.

The website schoolcuts.org.uk shows Barnsley schools will be £9,209,323 worse off by 2019/20 than they were in 2015/16.
