A NEW event for craft lovers is being launched this month which will showcase the town's best hand-crafters and offer workshops for people wanting to learn new skills.
The April Showers craft event at Horizon Community College on April 25 and 26, 10am 4pm, is organised by Script Events to showcase a variety of handmade craft items including home wares, jewellery, preserves and baked goods, as well as live demonstrations, a fresh flower and plant sale, and workshops where visitors can make their own bracelets and flower balloons.
The venue is being decorated with an array of themed balloons provided by The Balloon Bug, of Wombwell, to make the flower theme of the event come to life.
