VOLUNTEERS will be in Dearne Valley Country Park on Friday and Saturday as part of the Love Where you Live campaign.

They will be meeting Friday at Newlyn Drive, Monk Bretton, at 6.30pm for a litter pick accompanied by a bird and wildlife talk. Dog walkers can also pick up some free bags to help them clear up after their pets.

On Saturday, people can meet at Hoyle Mill car park at 10am for a heritage talk by the RSPB.

The two events have been organised as part of Barnsley Council's Love Where You Live campaign, which is about working together to make communities a great place to live and make them a place everyone can take pride in.
