AN appeal for information has been made after a tractor collided with a motorbike.
The incident, which took place near the junction of Houghton Road and Billingley Lane in Thurnscoe last Sunday, resulted in the motorcyclist being airlifted to the Northern General Hospital in Sheffield.
Police, who closed the road for about two hours, want to hear from motorists or passers-by who may have witnessed the crash, which happened at about 4.25pm.
According to a spokesman, the rider a man in his 20s suffered non-life-threatening arm, chest and leg injuries. Contact police on 101 if you have any information.
