Woman has miraculous escape after car ploughs into house

ELAINE Kaye is lucky to be alive after a car ploughed into her house - TWICE - just feet away from where she was sitting.
She was fortunate not to be seriously injured when the vehicle, believed to be a Range Rover, smashed into the front of her Caxton Street home at midnight on Sunday, before driving off and leaving devastation in its wake.
The ordeal has left auxiliary nurse Elaine, 54, shaken and landed her with a hefty bill to fix the damage - expected to run into thousands of pounds.
