CONTRACTORS have finally started working on building the Aldi store at Barnsley Road, Cudworth.
The plans were approved by planning officers in September 2013. There will be a total of 77 car parking spaces at the site.
The store will create up to 30 full and part time jobs, and 200 jobs during its construction.
The majority of the site has been vacant since 1990, following the demolition of the former council offices.
