A PAINFULLY funny and gutsy story about what people will do to achieve glory is coming to Jump in a play to be staged at the working men’s club next weekend.

From Nick Ahed, the writer of Partition and The Chef Show, the punchy new play Glory takes you inside the wrestling ring.

Glory is part of the Civic on Tour programme in partnership with Red Ladder which has been a success over the last few years touring theatres to local and rural venues.

With their Civic on Tour programme, The Civic is continuing to support the Leeds theatre company in bringing productions to the Barnsley area at affordable prices.

The performance of Glory will be at Jump Club on Saturday, March 23 at 7.30pm.

The recommended age for the performance is 12 and above.
