X-FACTOR star Jake Quickenden will mark a Barnsley teenager’s 21st birthday following his death from a rare bone cancer.
Daniel Binney died in June from osteosarcoma just weeks before his 20th birthday.
His mum Trish has organised a black tie charity event to mark what would have been his big day in July.
Trish, 47, of Queen’s Drive, Dodworth, said: “When Dan was alive, he always wanted me to do a black tie event and I never got around to it. I think he would be over the moon.
“The event is on July 15 which is his actual birthday - I just thought what better way to celebrate. I thought it would be poignant.”
