Barnsley captain Andy Yiadom wants to play every game in his club's relegation battle but says he will accept head coach Jose Morais' decision if he is dropped again tomorrow.

Morais has been rotating Yiadom and fellow right-back Dimitri Cavare every match over the last two weeks while doing the same with his left-backs.Yiadom, who impressed on Tuesday in the 1-1 draw with Norwich, said: "I am not going to lie and say I don't mind getting rested. I want to play every game but it is down to the manager if he wants me to play the next game or not. You just have to respect that and move on. We have a big enough squad and someone else can come in and do a job."

Yiadom declined to comment on his future, with his contract at Oakwell set to run out in the summer but, after narrowly missing out on moving to the Premier League in August, he is likely to have plenty of offers from other clubs. The 26-year-old Ghana international struggled with injury before Christmas but has been in good form recently for a side which is one place above the relegation zone.

He said: "I think I have been back to my best. It was disappointing when I was injured earlier in the season but I have come back, played a few games and got going. At the moment I am just concentrating on us staying up. We 100 per cent believe we are going to do it. I remember being at Barnet and getting relegated and it's not a nice feeling at all. It's something that is not going to happen to me again. But I can draw on those experiences.

"I remember the pain of it. It's not just yourself, it affects a lot of people and their livelihoods which is something that is always in the back of your head."

Yiadom has been captain of both Barnet and Barnsley. He said: "It's not just wearing an armband, it means much more to me that that.

"I am a leader. I am not the one who is going to shout at someone on the pitch for the sake of it. I will give them a word and a look, then a kiss afterwards."
