ENTREPRENEURS aged as young as 16 have been given the chance to start their own business - and some are already making money.

iTrust showcased businesses who have received grants from the project in an open day at Barnsley College to highlight their success.

Charlotte Kaye of New Street, Worsbrough Dale, received an iTrust grant to start Charlotte Elizabeth Photography in September.

The 22 year-old used the money to pay for a pitch at a wedding fair and has since been booked to photograph eight weddings.

A grant also allowed 16-year-old Bethany Wood from Old Town to found fashion accessories business Loving Dot, and 28 year-old Monk Bretton Photographer David Chatwood to set-up Diddy David Digital.
