A BARNSLEY youngster has landed a leading role in the professional touring theatre production of The Full Monty alongside a host of famous faces from TV.
Felix Yates, nine, will play the son of the main character - played by Robert Carlyle in the 1997 hit film.
In this theatrical version Felix’s on-stage dad will be Gary Lucy - a former Dancing on Ice winner famed for his acting roles including in Eastenders, The Bill, Footballers’ Wives and Hollyoaks.
The part will take the pupil of St Helen’s Catholic Primary School in Hoyland away from home at first for five weeks for intensive rehearsals in London and then the opening shows in Bournemouth.
