HERE'S a feathered friend who has not been in Barnsley for long- but already feels right at home - this baby kingfisher is living in Worsbrough country park.
The little chap was captured on camera by local photographer Darren Harper as he strolled through the park.
Officials say the baby bird and other wildlife are just some of countless reasons why people should visit Worsbrough Mill and country park over the coming weeks.
A new play area has just been completed near the mill the with puzzles, climbing frames and slides. Also being installed for the summer holidays are two new springy rides courtesy of the Friends of Worsbrough Mill.
