A wig company based in Barnsley has been named retailer of the year.
Sally's Glitz and Glam was founded 15 years ago by siblings Sally Wilkinson, 36, and brother Daniel, 30, on Barnsley Market where it continues to operate.
Since then they have expanded into shopping centres at Huddersfield and Crystal Peaks and it was the latter store that was shortlisted for the Retail Industry Awards at the Dorchester Hotel, London.
Sally said: "It feels fantastic, I was really pleased that we won. When we got shortlisted for the final 12, I was really excited, but when we won I was ecstatic."
The award now sits in the Barnsley Market stall after a brief stay at Crystal Peaks and Sally says she likes to sing the market's praises whenever she has a chance.
She said: "To say this has all come from Barnsley Market, it deserves to be there."
The pair grew up in Staincross and Sally now lives in Monk Bretton and Daniel in Brierley. They will shortly open a fourth store in Chesterfield with The Only Way is Essex star Maria Fowler performing the opening ceremony.
