Barnsley lost 2-1 at home to a Manchester United XI in a pre-season friendly on Tuesday night.

 

The visitors fielded a team of untried teenagers including winger Josh Harrop put the visitors 2-0 up with a first half brace.

 

Half-time substitute Jean Yves M'voto netted for Reds on 89 minutes but they are still seeking their first win of pre-season.

 

Barnsley revealed their new signing Luke Berry - signed on a three-year deal from Cambridge - and also handed a start to Canadian international striker Marucs Haber who is on trial.
