DARFIELD videographer and filmmaker Giannis Kipreos is capturing this year's LIVE in Barnsley action in a 'fly on the wall' documentary.

Giannis, 25, of Nanny Marr Road, will film the free festival which takes place across 13 venues in town on June 21.

He has already got music documentaries, and music and news videos under his belt and worked with Tramlines music festival in Sheffield last year.

Mail Online used one of his videos about Sheffield Ski Village and when Foulstone School in Darfield was demolished, Giannis's film was used on local newspaper and news websites.

He said: " The LIVE in Barnsley documentary is a fly on the wall look into what goes on behind the scenes of arranging a music festival. They have given me total access so expect interviews with organisers, band members and a few special guests."

>Giannis also works with dance schools around Yorkshire. He filmed shows, festivals and competitions, then created DVDs and distributed them to the dance schools involved.

He has always been a fan of films and documentaries and has had an interest in media since he was very young.

Giannis's ambition is to make a living out of his own video business and create a documentary or film that is aired on TV or cinema.
