ROBBIE Cundy and Josh Benson are set for spells on the sidelines.

Defender Cundy missed Saturday’s game at Charlton Athletic with a knee problem and is expected to miss ‘two or three weeks.’

Midfielder Benson came off at Charlton with a hamstring injury, which will rule him out for four to six weeks.

Luke Thomas has been out with a broken leg since early October and loan striker Slobodan Tedic since November with an ankle problem.

Both are expected back in training in late January or early February.

Tom Edwards’ loan has been cut short. The defender, who was on loan from Stoke, suffered medial ligament damage at Derby County last week in the FA Cup.

Head coach Michael Duff said: “There was an opportunity to break the contract and financially we would have had to keep paying him and only had him for a month.

“It would have been dead money.”
