HARRY Isted has won his first seven games at Oakwell and is ‘loving’ his time on loan at Barnsley.

The goalkeeper, on loan from Luton until the end of the season, made his debut in the second of a current eight-game winning streak at Oakwell.

He told the Chronicle: “We’re making it a fortress. The fans are making a lot of noise for us and spurring us on which is always good.

“I love playing here, playing in front of the fans and getting three points as well.”

Isted has kept six clean sheets in his 13 games for Barnsley, with ten wins.

“I am always delighted with clean sheets. The main job is getting three points and anything that comes with it is a bonus.”

Barnsley bounced back from Friday’s controversial loss at Burton Albion with a 2-1 home win over Shrewsbury, in which Nicky Cadden was sent off.

“We showed a positive reaction.

“We always forget about the last game and move onto the next one.”

Ryan Bowman shot straight at Isted in injury-time when he could have made it 2-2. He said: “It was nice of him to hit it straight at me."
