Victor Adeboyejo has moved to Barnsley’s League One rivals Burton Albion, after being offered a new contract at Oakwell.

The striker, 24, joined the Reds in 2017 and made 98 appearances- mostly off the bench - scoring nine goals.

After being part of the squad that gained promotion from League One three years ago, he was loaned out to Bristol Rovers and Cambridge in the 2019/20 season.

He returned to the Barnsley team under Valerien Ismael and scored his first two Championship goals, before starting in the second leg of the play-off semi-final at Swansea.

He scored three more goals last season as the Reds finished last in the Championship.
