Athersley Rec are still bottom of NCEL Division One after they drew 3-3 at home to mid-table Selby Town on Saturday.

The visitors netted twice in the final minutes of the first half then Lee Garside scored twice in the first five minutes of the second.

Rec had a man sent off before Selby took the lead again but saw a penalty saved by Ellis Pickard then Ricky Berry levelled in the 88th minute.

They are four points off safety with five games remaining.

Worsbrough Bridge are 15th, six clear of the relegation zone with four games left. They drew 1-1 home to high-flying Rossington Main on Saturday.

Harley Holt netted in the first half then Rossington levelled in the 85th minute. Worsbrough are unbeaten in five, with four draws.

Penistone Church lost 3-0 at home to Premier Division leaders North Ferriby in front of an impressive crowd of 411.

They are now fourth, 12 points off the top two, with four games left.

Wombwell Main stayed top of the County Senior Premier Division with a 2-1 home win over Penistone Church reserves.

Ethan Kenny and Jamie Knox scored for Main who are top on goal difference from Dodworth MW who have a game in hand. Dodworth won 2-0 at home to Oughtibridge.

Wombwell Town beat Houghton Main 4-1. The scorers were Luke Micklethwaite, twice, Connor Peace and Lewis Wardle.

North Gawber drew 2-2 at home to Sheffield Town. Carey Welford and Callum Mackie scored.
