BARNSLEY Schoolboys under 14s have been crowned league champions, and will now look to complete a double in this weekend’s cup final.

They took the title with a 2-0 victory over Sheffield. Noah Town and Kendon Hickey scored the goals.

The team now face Harrogate tomorrow in the Yorkshire Cup final.

The game is due to be played at Bridlington Town.

Barnsley Schoolboys under 13s also made it to the regional cup final, to be played tomorrow in Leeds, after overcoming Sheffield 4-3.

In the under 12s, Athersley Rec won 4-1 at Staincross, Royston Dynamos triumphed 2-1 at Ackworth, North Gawber beat Brierley Cubs 4-1 and Dearne and District won 7-2 over Worsbrough United.
