John Stones is two thirds of the way to a treble with Manchester City after winning the FA Cup final.
City beat local rivals Manchester United 2-1 at Wembley on Saturday, with Thurlstone man and England international Stones again drawing praise in his midfield role.
They have already won the Premier League and now face Inter Milan in the Champions League final on Saturday in Istanbul – hoping to be the first English side to complete the treble since United in 1999.
The former Barnsley player, 29, has won five titles and two FA Cups but never the Champions League, having lost in the final in 2021.
