NICKY Cadden and Callum Styles could return to face Stevenage.

They missed the 1-1 draw with Charlton with minor injuries.

Head coach Neill Collins said: “They are progressing. If not back for Saturday, it will be the following game. It’s a big boost.”

Owen Dodgson impressed at left wing-back on Saturday in the absence of Cadden and Styles. Collins said: “Owen’s attitude has been excellent. He’s a great lad and a great trainer.

“It’s probably the position with the most competition in our squad.

“Nicky has been a regular and so reliable but Callum did really well there at Reading and enjoyed it. We have three good options.”

Midfielder Josh Benson has not played since picking up an injury at Derby County on November 11.

Collins said: “Josh is progressing. We expect to see him back out on the training pitch in January and fit to impact the squad in January.

“I feel for Josh. He played reserves games and in cups.

“He got injured when maybe looking like he could get an opportunity.

“He’s working hard to get fit.

“He has quality and is someone who can help us.”
