ELSECAR under 13s won by 36 runs at home to Silkstone United in the eight-a-side league.

George Dyson, who also top-scored, and Lucas Ivill took two wickets each for Elsecar and Sienna Mahoney for Silkstone.

Rockingham under 13s won by 81 runs at Darfield. Austin Marlow took three for 11 for Rockingham and Darfield’s Alfie Parker claimed two wickets.

Darton under 13s won by 19 runs at home to Higham.

Lucy Hunter top-scored for Darton and Ben Clarke for Higham, while Darton’s Archie Dawson took three wickets and Jessica Butterfield two.

Elsecar under 11s won by 35 runs at Barnsley Woolley. Neve Allott top-scored for Barnsley and Alex Kemp for Elsecar. There were two wickets for Elsecar’s Freddie Jackson, who did not concede any runs, and Ava Hunsley.

Theo Hillman starred with the bat in Cawthorne under 11s’ win over Darfield.

Penistone under 11s beat Upper Haugh by 90 runs.

Thomas Charlesworth top-scored then Yven Turner took three wickets for no runs and David Moore three for 11.

Darton under 11s won against Penistone Lions. Darton’s Archie Dawson took three for four and Tommy Turner two for six. Chloe Waring took two wickets for Penistone.

Cawthorne under 11s won by 11 runs against Monk Bretton.

Parker Barr top-scored for the Monks and Fred Woodward for Cawthorne. There were three wickets for Cawthorne’s Finn Campbell and two for Ralph Cartwright. Noah Saunders took two wickets for Cawthorne.

Higham under 11s beat Kexborough by five runs. Chloe Lockwood took two wickets.

Darton under 11s Sikas won at Mexborough.

Josh Butterfield-Thornton and Oscar Tindall made the highest scores then Jasper Garside took two wickets.

Rockingham under 15s won by 17 runs at Elsecar.

William Dooling and Ekambir Singh shared an opening stand of 80 then there were two wickets for Zakariya Farouk and Adam Cummins. Elsecar’s Joshua Goulding took two wickets and a run-out then George Dixon top-scored.

Cawthorne under 15s won by ten wickets at Upper Haugh.

Ben Unwin took two for two off four overs then also top-scored.

Barnsley Woolley under 15s were victorious at Wath.

James Wilkes and Ollie Chapman-Stott top-scored for Barnsley and Charlie Whitehead for Wath.

Darton under 15s beat Houghton Main.

Campbell Wroe top-scored for Darfield while Houghton’s Waheed Safi took four wickets then top-scored.

Monk Bretton under 15s beat Penistone by 36 runs. Zac Cooper starred with the bat then took three wickets as did Isaac Wainwright.

Zach Painten took two wickets for Penistone then top-scored.
