Barnsley have made teenage goalkeeper Daniel Jinadu their first signing of the summer.

The 18-year-old has signed a one-year deal and will be third choice at Oakwell initially, playing for the under 23s but hoping to push first team stoppers Jack Walton and Brad Collins.
The Reds had been looking for a new goalkeeper following the release of Henry Kendrick and Corey Addai.
Jinadu spent the end of last season on trial at Oakwell, keeping clean sheets in two 1-0 wins for the under 23s, as his contract with West Ham United was coming to an end.
The Nigerian-born goalkeeper had previously been at Chelsea’s academy. He played for England at under 15 and under 16 level then Nigeria at the Under 17s World Cup in 2019, starting three games.
