A TEN-YEAR-OLD boy was taken to hospital with ‘serious injuries’ after being struck by a car.
Police were called to Doncaster Road, Darfield, at 8.24am today (Tuesday, June 8).
Witnesses told the Chronicle the Yorkshire Air Ambulance was on the scene.
A police spokesperson said: “Officers were called at 8.24am with reports of a collision between a pedestrian and a vehicle on Doncaster Road, Darfield.
“The pedestrian, a 10-year-old boy, has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.”
