A TOWN centre gym has been shortlisted for a prestigious fitness industry award for their work keeping customers safe during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The team at Your Space at the Metrodome have been named as one of the six finalists in the Regional Club/Centre of the Year North category at the ukactive Awards.
Manager at Your Space Metrodome, Joni Millthorpe, said: “Our staff have been amazing.
“They have had to adapt so much and have supported our customers to ensure they felt confident and safe to return to our facilities.
“We’re really excited to be shortlisted for the ukactive Awards.
“It’s brilliant to be a finalist but it would be fantastic to win; both for our members and in recognition of all the hard work which staff have done over these past few months.”
The next stage of the judging process involves collating email customer feedback surveys and mystery shopping visits before the winners are announced at a ceremony later this year.
