REMY Vita and Will Hondermarck are fit and training with Barnsley but Markus Schopp has taken them out of recent matchday squads as they ‘develop’.
Midfielder Hondermarck played three games from the bench last month but was then left out of the squad for the most recent three.
Left wing-back Vita, a deadline day loan signing from Bayern Munich, is yet to make his debut and has only appeared in one matchday squad. Schopp said: “Both are fine, both are here with us. For Remy it was important to get closer to the team and understand how we work. With Will, we signed him for the under 23s and he collected minutes for the first team. This is a really interesting player over the next years for Barnsley. We are developing him.”
