Barnsley centre-back Michal Helik watched from the bench as Poland reached the World Cup while Callum Styles started for Hungary for first time.

Poland won their World Cup play-off 2-0 against Sweden on Tuesday evening In Helik’s home city of Chorzow.

They have qualified for this year’s World Cup in Qatar.

Midfielder Styles made his first start for Hungary in their 1-0 friendly win at Northern Ireland.

Both players are now due to return to Oakwell to prepare for Barnsley’s huge relegation battle with Reading on Saturday.
