Two members of the hospice’s fundraising team, Fin McKenzie and Mark Hanson, shared their excitement at taking part in the jump from 15,000ft on July 10.
Fin said: "Barnsley Hospice means so much to me, and I can't wait to take on my first ever skydive to raise funds to support their work."
A spokesperson for the Hospice added: “Skydiving for the hospice offers the perfect opportunity for the thrill-seekers amongst us to tick an item off their bucket list whilst raising money to support people living life life-limiting illnesses and those close to them.
“Taking place at Skydive Hibaldstow, our charity skydive invites people to complete a 15,000ft tandem skydive, taking in views of the scenic Lincolnshire landscape as you fly back to earth.”
Sign-up for the event is now closed, but those wanting to arrange another date to jump can fill out a form on the Barnsley Hospice website or email fundraising@barnsley-hospice.org.
