Barnsley have signed Stoke City’s Tom Edwards on loan, while Callum Styles could be joining Millwall.

The transfer window closes at 11pm tonight.

Edwards, the 23-year-old right-back, has been on loan to MLS club New York Red Bulls, managed by former Reds boss Gerhard Struber, since early last year.

His loan to the Red Bulls has been cut short so he can sign for Barnsley.

Edwards played 46 Premier League and Championship games for Stoke and 11 on loan to Fleetwood in League One in the first half of the 2020/21 season.

Barnsley are also thought to be interested in Burnley midfielder Adam Phillips.

Styles is understood to be in talks with Championship club Millwall over a loan, with Michal Helik is still expected to be sold to Huddersfield.

Clarke Oduor is set to be loaned out to a League Two club.
