BARNSLEY town centre is currently second across the country for its post-pandemic recovery footfall levels.
The Centre for Cities report, which assesses pre and post-Covid visitors, reveals Barnsley is faring better than its similar-sized towns.
The report cites the Glass Works - now into its final stages - as a key part in its economic recovery.
