BARNSLEY Hospital bosses are asking visitors and patients wear a face mask when attending the site due to an increase in the number of Covid-19 patients in their care.
Face masks were reintroduced as a requirement for all staff whilst in hospital last weekend.
As a result, bosses are now asking residents to do the same.
A spokesperson said: “Surgical masks should be worn covering the nose and mouth at all times, and of course it remains vital.
