Barnsley have signed striker Oli Shaw from Kilmarnock on a deal until 2025 for an undisclosed fee.

The 24-year-old netted 16 goals last season to fire Killie into the top flight but has not netted in 14 league games this season.

The Scotland under 21 striker has played just one minute of football since early November.

The former Hibernian and Ross County man has 16 goals in 87 SPL games and also scored in the Europa League.

Shaw told the club website: “It’s been a long couple of days. I’ve known about it for a while, but I’m finally here now.

“I’ve met the boys, settling in. It’s really good to be here now and I can’t wait to get going.”

The Reds are thought to be working on more deals before the 11pm deadline tonight.
