BARNSLEY under 18s are waiting to hear whether they will be given a 2-0 win at Sheffield United after the match was called off with a minute to play.

The game is understood to have been abandoned after an altercation between both sets of players.

Alex Anaman and Leo Farrell had scored for leaders Barnsley at second-placed United.

The win would have left the Reds 16 points clear although the Blades have three games in hand.

They are now due to visit Birmingham City on Tuesday.
