MORE than 2,000 people in Barnsley have a second home, new Census figures have revealed.
The Office for National Statistics (ONS) revealed which areas in the UK have the most holiday home owners.
The figures show there were 2,013 people from Barnsley with at holiday homes - up from 1,500 in 2011.
This means 0.9 per cent of the area’s 231,221 residents regularly stayed at a holiday home.
