A WOMAN who was arrested on suspicion of murder following a man's death in Hoyland last weekend has been released.
A police investigation was launched after officers were called by Yorkshire Ambulance Service shortly after 6.30am on Saturday after a man was found 'seriously injured' at a property on Springwood Road.
Police attended the scene and a 38-year-old man was pronounced deceased.
A 48-year-old woman was arrested and remained in police custody until Sunday when a post mortem examination determined that there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
A spokesperson from South Yorkshire Police said: "The cordon in place on Springwood Road has been released and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
