BARNSLEY youngsters enjoyed success at the Yorkshire Championship at the Dorothy Hyman Stadium, Cudworth.
Under 17 Jonson Hughes, from Darfield, won gold over both 3,000m and 1,500m.
Maya Schofield, from Royston, won the under 15 girls’ 800m. She finished in a personal best of 2-13.
Great Britain international Joe Ferguson, from Darton, competed for the first time this season, winning the 100m with 10.6.
Barnsley AC’s Dominic Brennan won gold in the under 20 men’s discus with 42.37 and javelin bronze with 36.73.
Dan Bradbury threw a PB of 51.68 to take silver in the senior men’s javelin.
Under 15 girl Vanessa Ndambakuwa won the 100m and 200m with PBs of 12.38 and 25.06 respectively. Leah Finch ran a PB of 12.5 to win silver in under 17 100m and 25.84 to secure bronze over 200m.
In the senior women’s 100m, Millie Wright took bronze with 12.74.
There were also PBs for Josh Viyazhante (u13 boys 100m, 14.07), Neve Simmons (u17 women 100m, 14.62), Abigail Andrews (u13 girls 800m, 2-44.7), Olivia Ward (u17 women 200m, 29.43) and under 15 girls Amelie Spicer (100m, 13.35; 200m, 27-04), Evie Donaldson (100m, 13.46; 200m, 27-75), Rhea Stephenson (100m, 14.08; 200m, 30.25).
