ONLY 15 people tested positively for Covid-19 in Barnsley last week.
It’s a 17 per cent decrease on the previous week’s figures - bringing the total number of cases since the start of the pandemic to more than 98,500.
The town’s current infection rate is just 5.2 per 100,000 residents - the lowest it has been in the last year.
