A GREAT Houghton youngster has made it to the semi-finals of Miss Teen Great Britain.
Georgia Moate, 12, had to beat off stiff competition from across the country to be named as one of the semi-finalists.
Should she make it through the semi in her age category, then she’ll compete in Blackpool later this year.
Georgia said: “I am so excited to be a part of the Miss Teen Great Britain semi-final, to be shortlisted is a dream come true.
“I really hope to take part in the grand final in Blackpool in October.
“The winner will walk away with some incredible prizes - including a a cash prize.
“I really hope I make it to the final so that I can represent my home town.”
