Barnsley have signed Middlesbrough goalkeeper Liam Roberts on loan for the season.
The Reds acted quickly after yesterday's sale of Brad Collins to Coventry City.
The 28-year-old began his career with hometown club Walsall, making 149 appearances in League One and League Two.
He then moved to Northampton Town and was an ever-present in their 2021/22 campaign in League Two before moving on to Middlesbrough and playing four Championship games last season.
Meanwhile, defender Jasper Moon is set to rejoin Burton Albion on a permanent deal after impressing on loan there last season.
