TRIPLE Olympic gold medalist Ed Clancy joined youngsters showing off their biking skills in the town centre last weekend.
As part of the new RampUP scheme by Barnsley Council - which aims to inspire physical activity across the town - young scooter and bike riders showed off in the town centre.
The project has been visiting schools around the borough in recent weeks and has an exciting summer programme planned which will see a series of events take place within communities across Barnsley.
Ed said: “Children make the benefits of cycling and scooting clear to see - it’s fast, fun and brings the freedom to explore and connect with family and friends.”
