FORMER footballer Jon Parkin smashed 100 not out in Darfield’s win at Conisbrough in the South Yorkshire Championship.
Darfield were 125 for seven but Parkin whacked 11 fours and fives sixes off 68 balls to lead them to 255.
Ashley Potter and Saman Khursheed took three wickets each as Conisbrough were dismissed for 184.
Cawthorne won by 81 runs at Wath.
Michael Jepps (73) led Cawthorne to 220, with Wath’s Rob Barlow taking four wickets.
Wath were skittled for 139.
Liam Wiles took four wickets and Methushan Thilina three.
Cawthorne are 16 points clear at the top and second-bottom Wath 14 points off safety.
Houghton Main fell 57 runs short chasing 223 against Shiregreen.
Vikas Dixit took four wickets then made 72.
Barnsley Woolley Miners 2nd XI won by 19 runs at Sprotbrough.
Barnsley were 69 for six but Boeta Beukes (57) and Jordan Slattery (82) led them to 225.
The hosts collapsed from 183 for four to 206 all out with Max Heseltine taking three wickets.
