A MAN who was found in possession of a weapon containing a noxious liquid has been fined.
Pawel Kalapenski, 45, pleaded guilty to possessing PAVA spray - a substance similar to pepper spray - when stopped by police in 2021.
Sheffield Magistrates’ Court was told last week that Kalapenski, of Oxford Street, Barnsley, was also found with 793mg of amphetamine.
He was fined £200 and was told to pay court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £34.
