A SHOPKEEPER who is accused of supplying thousands of illegal cigarettes will appear at Barnsley Magistrates’ Court for trial in December.

Mahmud Saber Aziz, of Hoyland Mini Market, did not appear at the court on Monday but was granted bail ahead of the trial on December 14.

The 46-year-old is charged with possessing and supplying almost 3,000 illicit cigarettes and dozens of pouches of hand-rolling tobacco.
