IMOGEN Wolff was two seconds away from her first win in the Cyclo-cross World Cup.
The 17-year-old from Silkstone Common was edged out by compatriot and long-term rival Cat Ferguson.
She remains third in the junior women’s series, behind Ferguson and Frenchwoman Celia Gery. There are two races remaining on the last two weekends of next month in Benidorm, Spain then Hoogerheide, Netherlands.
Imogen then finished as third under 23 and 15th overall in the senior women’s UCI World Cup event in Gavare.
