Barnsley head coach Neill Collins and midfielder Herbie Kane have been nominated for League One's manager and player of the month for December respectively.
Collins guided the Reds through an unbeaten month, winning three games and drawing two.
Kane scored three goals and added three assists – netting the winner against Stevenage on his 100th game and providing pinpoint passes for Adam Phillips' goals against Charlton and Port Vale.
The winners will be announced on Friday.
