STRIKER Oli Shaw has gone back on loan to Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership after briefly returning to Barnsley.

The 25-year-old suffered a hamstring injury and left the Scottish side to complete his rehabilitation.

Shaw has made 16 appearances for the Steelmen so far this season, with no goals but two assists.

He is no stranger to Scottish football, having played for teams such as Hibernian, Kilmarnock and Ross County.

Already a native of the country, Oli will be looking to push Motherwell further up the league table as they sit eighth, just one point behind Dundee and the afore mentioned Hibs.

The deal was completed on deadline day a week ago but confirmed today.
