Penistone Church won 5-2 at home to second-placed Campion in the NCEL Premier on Saturday.

The visitors took an early lead but Nathan Keightley levelled with a penalty then put Church in front. Campion equalised before the break but Keightley completed his hat-trick just after the break then, after Josh Brown made it 4-2, he netted his fourth late on.

Penistone are seventh, with 46 points from 27 games - four points off the play-off places with games in hand on those above.

Athersley Rec lost 3-0 at home to Wakefield in Division One.

Rec are now 18th with 26 points from 34 games so are three places and five points clear of the drop zone having played several more games than teams below them.

In the County Senior League, Dodworth MW drew 1-1 at home to Hemsworth in the Premier Division.

They are third, 11 points behind leaders Penistone Church who won 2-0 at Houghton Main.

Silkstone United beat Athersley Rec reserves 4-1 in Division One.

Silkstone are third, seven points off second-placed Sheffield City with three games in hand and nine off leaders AFC Dronfield who have played two more.
